At Miller Welding Supply and Miller Industrial Gases, we believe in giving back to the communities we service. We support many organizations that focus on hospice care, education, welding technology, youth activities and childhood development to name a few. MWS/MIG hosts the John Clay Memorial BBQ to benefit Hospice of Michigan. This event is attended by over 1200 people each year and draws local chefs who compete for the coveted “Bad-to-the-Bone BBQ Rib Cookoff” Championship title. To date, this event has raised over $500,000 for Hospice of Michigan’s Open Access Program. Aim high: The Jerry Clay Scholarship Fund hosts an annual Competitive Shoot. The money raised at this event goes to scholarships to help students earn a degree in the welding technology field.
